The Au Co Cruise 2-Day Signature Voyage across Halong & Lan Ha Bay (From Hanoi)
Two days on The Au Co: kayaking in the hidden lakes of Ho Ba Ham, a Vietnamese cooking contest at sunset, and Tien Ong Cave or Cua Van Floating Village the next morning.
The Au Co takes its name from the mother of the Vietnamese people in legend, and its two signature suites are named after her and her husband, Lac Long Quan. With 32 cabins it is the largest of Bhaya's cruise ships, and this two-day Signature Voyage takes it across two heritage seascapes, Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay.
After the drive from Hanoi you board at Tuan Chau International Marina and have lunch as the ship cruises into the south-east of Halong Bay. The afternoon is spent kayaking through the emerald water of Ho Ba Ham, followed by happy hour at sunset, the Master Chef "Halong Bay Edition" cooking contest, dinner and a rice wine tasting.
The next morning starts with Tai Chi on deck at sunrise. After breakfast you choose between Tien Ong Cave, known for its archaeological finds, and the Cua Van Floating Culture Center by kayak or rowing boat, before the ship returns to the marina at 10:00 and you drive back to Hanoi.
